Hotrunners for Preform Moulds

PETform offers two versions of hot runners.

The first version has the same hot runner stack as Husky's standard Ultra-PET hot runners with 100% interchangeability with respect to the entire hot runner stack.

The second version, Optiflotm, developed by PETform, is designed to allow a vertical pitch to be as small as 40 mm if permitted by the cold stack design. This version also deploys many legacy hot runner stack parts wherever possible to minimise spares inventory. The reduced nano-pitch permits the use of higher number of cavities for any machine size for higher productivity. Besides an improvement in productivity, the other benefits are reduction in energy consumption and an improvement in melt quality (lower drop in IV and lower AA levels) due to the lower residence time in the runner.

Our hotrunner components are manufactured with very high precision. They are leak resistant, highly robust, and the hot and cold sides are well insulated from each other thus energy saving. There are no dead spots in the runner and the flow paths are seamless and smooth for minimal pressure drop, IV conservation and minimal AA generation.
